Whoo! Halfway through fiftytwocreatives! My subconscious must have known this was coming because it’s been churning out ideas left and right – and in some very big ways.
Jeremy Lim Photography + Music Rebranding
For those of you who follow my photography career, now’s the time for me to apologize for my silence. I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching to establish my next steps, and a major part of that was settling on a new brand. I didn’t feel good about the way I packaged my services. I needed to change – starting with the visuals.
What may look like a simple mark and some type have been the fruits of several months of study and tossing ideas around. All of a sudden, this week, everything clicked, so much so that, that I not only developed the identity for Jeremy Lim Photography, but for Jeremy Lim Music, and a handful of other properties as well.
I can’t tell you guys what a relief this is. I feel like I can finally move on with my life, and I promise, I’ll be hitting the ground running – hard.
Thank you – to everyone who I’ve been bouncing ideas with since 2010 – thank you for helping me find my feet.
dragons
Music’s been a little tricky of late. I find my loose grasp on the technical end is my most stubborn bottleneck, and I know that’s something I’m not getting over without serious study time. So, in the mean time, I’ve decided to play with what I know well – in this case, video game music and the more mellow, syncopated side of dubstep. Put them together, and out came dragons. Haven’t hit straight flow like this in a while.
Be sure to listen with a decent sub!
